The show is strictly a work didactic, because that was the proposal of the Secretary of Tourism and Culture, for the accomplishment of that project, with the students of the workshops of theater of the Academy of Arts Osvaldo Névola Filho, of São Vicente.

The staging develops the poet's biography Luiz Vaz de Camões, blended with the gods' of the Greek Mythology fantasy, that populated the dreams of the hero - the story begins with the shipwreck, where the poet survives hugged to the famous manuscript " Os Lusíadas " and it proceeds with the reminiscences of his childhood and youth, marked by the presence of the maternal figure, always present in his disrupted life and of the uncle, a friar, that a lot collaborated in his education, because the father had abandoned the family (the mother had a second marriage).

Several episodes of his romantic life appear, as his great love for Dinamene, killed in a tragic shipwreck; likewise as his loving adventures in the Cut, and all your bohemian life. The story still counts his sad prison, for participating of a fight to defend loutish friends, where it stabbed nobleman Gonçalo Borges, that happily didn't die.

The text is inserted with beautiful poetries of Camões and finally the piece concludes with his death, caused by the black plague, tends to his side, in the final moment, the mother's figure (as always) and the slave and friend, faithful Jaú. It is like this, the gods' of Olimpo suite takes him for the last eternal trip, in the boat of Dionísios - (FÁTIMA QUEIROZ).

Note of the Author: I dedicate that theatrical text to my longing teacher and friend, Carlos Alberto Andreoli, that inspired and a lot it contributed to the appearance of that theatrical work. That his soul rests in peace, in that his new spiritual dimension.
