(poetry)
Fátima
Queiroz
If
the soul remains silent to the calls of the meat
It
also remains silent the chimeras of the Earth
Of
the waters, of the air, of imaginations
It
silences the language, rituals, traditions.
If
to the world and the matter has overcome
Hearing
the Verb even through himself
The
thought reaching the eternal wisdom
The
Divine Joy the man would find.
The hearts taken a bath by the water of Your Source
They
become purified and they rise to the pick of the hill
From
where the soul undoes your obscurity
Through
Your Light to the eternal happiness.
Oh! My God !. We know that
is as death to leave of being
What before was, to be again and to see
Discovering the Road, the Truth, the Life and the Love
Exterminating
the lies, hate, suffering and pain.

"Momento do Poeta", number 13
- December of 2002, for the Secretary of the Culture
of São Vicente - São Paulo).
